ISRA Technical Rules for Euro24
ISRA Technical Rules for Production 24 with only this exception:
No handout motor! and please note the following details:
• Only X12 can (any modification to the can is not allowed)
• The magnet (axle side) may be notched to allow axle clearance
• The can (axle side) may be notched to allow axle clearance and the can may be
braced internally on the axle side
• Only plastic endbell are allowed
• Only single ceramic magnets are allowed
• Double ball bearing are allowed
• Brushes may be shunted
• Only Group 12 armatures (min.diam .510 – max.diam .518) are allowed
• A U‐shape piano wire, maximum 1.6, is allowed to reinforce the pillow blocks
(uprights)
• Bodies: Volvo BPA(#K61), Ford Fusion (RedFox), BMW (RedFox) + 2014/2015
ISRA body
Only Body control:
• Max height at rear wing: 35 mm
• Min height at bottom of windscreen: 23 mm
Technical Rules for Open Group 12 ‐ General and dimensions
• Chassis are unrestricted except the following limitations: overall length = 200 mm
from front of the body to rear of the body.
• Max overall width chassis = 83 mm (except body pins)
• Front Tyres (refer to ISRA Euro24 rules)
• Rear Tyres (refer to ISRA Euro24 rules)
• Maximum rear body height: 38 mm
• Minimum rear ground clearance: 0,8 mm
• The body must be painted in at least 2 different colours
• Bodies: Lola BPA (#049), Bentley (#044)
• No part of the motor, chassis, gears or tyres shall be visible when viewed from
above or through the windscreen or windows
• Gears are free, but they must not protrude below the underside of the chassis
Motors:
• Original C‐Can from Kelly/Mura/Proslot/RedFox/ TWP/Kamen/
Koford/Champion/RJR/Viper/Cahoza are allowed
• Free choice of screws, springs and brushes
• Brushes may be shunted
• Free choice of bearings (plain or ballrace) for endbell
• Free choice of bearings (plain or ballrace) for can
• Magnets may be shimmed
• Multiple magnets may be used
• Magnets may be cut down in height and shortened
